1997. Contesting Under Fire. CQWW SSB 1992, Tajik Style.
Published by CQ Contest Jan 1997.
My interest in contesting has grown slowly since 1985. In that year I worked in my first CQ WPX CW. and competed mostly with older hams here in Tajik. I was a young DXer. making a lot of QSOs. and I was very interested in DXing. Since that time I have worked in many contests, but mostly in the CQWW and WPX. In those contests, the amount of DX is outstanding, and each contest brought me new ones. I never concern rated on the plate I received in the results. Each year I made 300 to 500 QSOs in the CQWW-enough for first plate in Tajikistan!
